A very big two weeks for Olivia

Olivia has done so much over the past two weeks that it's difficult to know where to start.  Her adoption was finalized on the 8th, she succumbed to RSV on the 9th, and recovered just in time for a well baby visit and her baby brother to be born.

First the stats: Olivia is currently 20 pounds 9 ounces and 27.5 inches long.  Her head size and weight were off the pediatrician's chart, and her height was 98th percentile.  She's one healthy baby!  In fact, we received the green light to move to three solid meals a day - it will be hard to keep up with her demand for puree!

On March 8th, we visited the Provo Courthouse to finalize Olivia's adoption.  It was a beautiful day.  The bailiff and judge cooed at her and then conspired to conduct the finalization before bringing the criminals into the room.  They said it was the best part of their day.

She is always the center of attention!

And no celebration would be complete without a confection from Nana Lisa.
As Olivia started to feel a little better, we took her outside in her coat.  She loves hiking around in the back yard.

Olivia beat her RSV just in time for Cassandra's labor to begin. Olivia spent time with her Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles while she waited.  She has never had so much attention lavished on her at one time.

I wonder why these socks won't come off of my feet

Glad to spend time with Uncle Carter before he leaves for a couple of years
On March 18th, she officially became a big sister.  We tried to find a shirt that said big sister, but little sister is the closest match.  She still hasn't met little Henry Carter, but we hope she will sometime this week and will definitely have a few pictures for the next blog post.
